Why this place exists

About Us

An umbrella of realized masters, and the ways to connect with them

Our vision

We are building an umbrella: the teachings of realized, departed masters gathered in one quiet place — woven together with the ways to connect with them, and the practices that can help a seeker wherever they stand in their journey.

A newcomer finds simple practices that purify. A reader finds sacred texts presented slowly, in original, transliteration, and meaning. A devotee finds the masters — who they were, the way they gave, and something to carry. And everyone, at every page, is pointed past every page: to the Sathguru within.

The emblem

Our emblem is a text you can read: three waters — Purity, Sadhana, Inner Wisdom — curve beneath a blue lotus; the stem rising through them is Grace, which no effort grows; the blossom is Truth, which was never absent, only closed. A slender crescent tips like a cup of nectar toward the flower; Savitr's golden ring of awakening encircles all; and the field of green holding everything is the heart's own color — for as the Tamil siddha Tirumular sang, love itself is Shiva: anbe sivam. What we stand for

Three authorities, always named. No claim stands on this site unless it rests on the ancient texts, the teaching of a realized master, or honest research and reasoning — and we always say which one a claim rests on. The traditions named this tripod long ago: shruti, yukti, anubhava.

Departed masters only. Time has tested them, their stories are complete, and reverence for them serves no promotion.

Truthfulness in citation. Sacred text is quoted from its sources, never paraphrased into existence. Famous sayings are attributed honestly. Where scholarly dating is debated, we say so.

What we will not do

We will not sell anything. We will not, directly or indirectly, earn anything from this site — not now, not ever; everything here is free of cost and will remain free, always. We will not promote any living teacher, nor accept promotion. We will not copy the work of others — where a beautiful rendition of a chant exists, we link to it with gratitude rather than imitating it. We will not publish a claim that stands on nothing. We will not invent scripture, benefits, or quotations. And above all: nothing on this site — no page, no text, no tool — will ever be placed in the Guru's seat. That seat is already occupied, within you. Everything here exists to turn you toward it, and then to get out of the way.

Made with the help of AI

In the spirit of the truthfulness this site teaches, we say plainly how it was made: its content and design were put together with the help of AI — Claude, Gemini, Grok, Framer, and Meta — working alongside human vision, experience, and judgment.

We see this as something to acknowledge with gratitude, not to hide. In this age, AI makes it possible for one person to access, analyse, and weave together knowledge spread across more texts and traditions than any single human being could read in a lifetime — and that is precisely what an umbrella of the masters requires. At the same time, AI is an instrument, not an authority: every claim on this site still rests on the three authorities we name — the texts, the masters, honest research — is checked by human hands, and remains open for anyone to cross-verify. Indeed, the same tools that helped build this site make such verification easier than it has ever been; we invite you to use them on us. Where we fall short, tell us — corrections are a gift.
